Diploma you receive will be accompanied by a letter detailing why
the person was awarded the Degree. The
wording next to each Diploma shown below was
actually inserted into the letter.

Playing the 7th at
Pebble
Ted DeWitt is a "Certified Smart Guy" at playing
the 7th hole at Pebble Beach. While
playing his first round of golf at Pebble he did
the unimaginable - he made a hole-in-one on the
infamous 7th hole. The wind was blowing
out of the south and Teddy pulled out his 7 iron
and made a perfect swing launching the ball up
into the wind. It was like the ball hit a
wall when it fell straight down and went into
the hole on the fly. He is now our idol.
After he bought us drinks in the Tap Room we all
decided to get him a degree from the venerable U
of E. Congratulations "Mr. DeWitt you are
the MAN."

Running Marathons
Linda Sweet
deserves a degree in running marathons.
Since beginning her running "career" she has
completed all of her marathons within her goal
times. She credits her success to starting
out slow and tapering. Personally I don't
get it, I got tired just driving and running
from place to place to cheer her on.

Motherhood
Well mom we
made it. I couldn't have made it without
your help. But now that I've graduated
you can break my plate and cut off my end of the
table. Before I move on in life I would
like to give you a Degree in Motherhood for all
you have done for me. You have certainly
earned the necessary real life credits to
receive this degree from the University of
Everything. Thanks mom I'm proud to be
your son you mean everything to me.
